The Samandari family (the founding family) officially launched the outlet on Saturday and organised a High Tea that saw crème de la crème of Delhi. Spread over 12,000 sq. ft., it houses state-of-the-art equipment from France, 24-hour full power back up, best-in-class cold storage and its own logistics fleet. To ensure quality and taste, raw material such as flour, butter, cream, chocolate and fruits are carefully selected, sourced and stored in a temperature-controlled environment.
L’Opéra is the brainchild of young Frenchman Laurent Samandari, who envisioned the demand for authentic, high-quality French bakery and pastry products while on an internship in India, as part of his business degree. Laurent’s parents, Kazem and Christine Samandari also joined forces with him in Delhi to help grow L’Opéra and make it one of India’s most loved brands.
