Zorambo, the Caftaurant

We recently attended the launch of Zorambo, born in India at Central plaza, Golf Course Road, Gurgaon .  Zorambo is the world’s largest Caftaurant chain and the launch was graced by the best-selling author, Mr Chetan Bhagat as well as Mr Anurag Bhushan, Joint Secretary, Ministry of External Affairs.

Cafataurant is the new concept in the food industry which literally is a combination of a Cafe + Restaurant where along with some great coffee, tea and shakes you can also munch on a variety of Indian snacks and mouthwatering desserts.

We do have places where one gets good coffee and some snacks to go with it. But most of these places lack when it comes to variety. But Zorambo is a place which boasts of sufficient food and beverage options to substitute for both- a coffee place as well as a restaurant at quite pocket friendly prices. The place also offers a curated co-working space wherein a customer can simply plug-in their laptops and start working while enjoying great food and coffee.

We found the decor and ambiance at cafataurant quite simple, colourful, appealing and cute. The eatery has small bookshelves from which we took some books out and flipped over. Also we tried our hands at the games tables and played games like ludo, cards,Tic-Tac-Toe etc.

We are foodies and while at an eatery the most important thing that we do is Eat. So we went ahead and ordered a few milk shakes and went on to select a few dishes from their menu which features both veg and non-veg options. They serve sandwiches, quiches and rolls for small bites and Dal Makhni, paneer and other delicacies for people who want have a full meal.

We tried Paneer Kurkure, which is a chef special here. It was quite yummy and I loved the kurkurapan i.e the crunchiness.

We also tried their coffees and desserts. I loved the chocolate Mousse in particular.

I am sure I would definitely visit the caftaurant again to have some delicious food.

Zorambo is a first of its kind ‘Born in India’ Caftaurant that will serve some great coffee, tea, shakes, awesome variety of Indian snacks, mouthwatering desserts and provide a pleasant experience for the customers to come, relax and enjoy the Zorambo experience. The premium yet pocket friendly one-stop-shop with sufficient food and beverage options is a substitute for both- a coffee house and a restaurant.  Zorambo has curated co-working space too wherein a customer can simply plug his laptop and plan meetings outside of his workspace. Three outlets are open in the Millennium City, Gurugram- Central Plaza in Golf Course Road, D Block Shopping Plaza in South City 2 and JMD Megapolis in Sohna Road. Zorambo plans to open 200 outlets across India, UK, Ireland, Germany and Singapore over 48 months and aims to hit 5000 mark by 2030 via distribution led model.
